Black and White and Fall ...

I dreamed at first I was at work, and Joe had taken out a lot of clutter and installed black and white tile in the office, and a cooler, the kind like you see in convenience stores with soda. It was so much roomier and brighter with the improvement. There was some visible dirt and debris on the floor and I began sweeping it up. Joe came in and fussed at me because I was sweeping and not working but I showed him how dirty the floor was and he let me keep sweeping. Susan was there and I was so excited about the change in the office. Then I went to the ladies room and Susan came running in telling me Jeff was there. He was suddenly outside the stall door and there was a very bright light behind him making it hard for me to see him. I pretended to be happy to see him and tried to hug him but he was very angry. He’d brought several dozen people with him for some kind of ‘intervention’. They were all outside and outside it was bright and a fall day as the trees were red-leafed and the leaves were falling.



They just milled around a while, some came inside to look at the office, and eventually they went away and he did too. Mother was in there somewhere, trying to hide from Jeff. I told her after a while it was alright she could come out now he was gone and we’d won.
