Grrr ...

I dreamt I was in an apartment with Mom and Ruth stole my nightstand for herself. I was looking and looking and looking for it. Then I found it in her bedroom beside her bed with a lamp on it and the top drawer missing. I demanded she bring the drawer back WITH it's contents and give me back my nightstand. I went outside and someone had stolen my car.

There was a little dog running loose in the parking lot and I picked her up and brought her in, she just blended in with the dogs that was there and no one noticed her. Someone finally did and Mother said it was one someone brought to spay and didn't pick up. Was a daylight dream very busy I was angry about the nightstand.

At point of remembering Mother had cleaned the coffeepot and put water in the tank to make coffee, but didn't put coffee in a filter and started the machine, so I did that. Then I started having another dream.

I dreamed that I had an apartment that adjoined Kate Moennig's apartment and we were best friends. She at one point took me to a slum area in a large city, past sick and wheezing derelicts and shifty pickpockets and pimps, to take me to a place to buy unusual items.

She'd told me never go there by myself. At one point I was walking down a country paved highway and a little black dog was running loose in the road and I worried about traffic, it belonged to an old man who couldn't care for it.

Then I was back at the apartment and I went on my own back to the slum area, I was walking confidently through the streets swinging my purse and was very happy, no one bothered me, I got to the store and bought more stuff and I was back on the country highway and the road was frozen over, and over a hill the little dog started running down the middle stripe to me, I grabbed her up she wriggled and played and I took her home. I got to the apartment and Kate opened the door, asking where I'd been and I let the little dog down into the apartment saying 'I got her!' and Kate was pleased as well but admonished me for going to the slums by myself, but thought it cool I had the nerve to do it.
