New Girl In Town ...

I dreamed I moved into a new town. The neighborhood I moved into was nice, clean, not too fancy not too bad. Most of the women on my street were welcoming and friendly, three of them made friends with me immediately. A fourth didn't like me, didn't trust me, because I was single. So was she. So was the town's handsome sheriff. She didn't want me near him. There was a game that the neighborhood played, kind of like lotto. You dropped a quarter in a slot and slips with numbers on them printed out, like lottery tickets. There was a green paper that had winning numbers on it, and the woman that didn't like me was in charge of that. At one point I was putting quarters in the machine, and I knew because I was playing so many that I should win SOMETHING, and the sheriff was there playing too. Our slips got mixed up but I separated them and the woman got mad because I'd been talking to the sheriff. I kept looking for the green sheet so I could see what I won and she kept hiding it from me. Finally me and the three friendly women got in the car to go somewhere. It was dark and I was in the backseat with one of the nice women. I looked up into the sky, there was a full moon, and beside the moon was the figure of a woman I recognized as Inanna. The woman next to me gasped and said "I can see her!" I shouted "Do you see her? Do you see her?" and when I looked back up there were three women, one Inanna, one Selene (goddess of the moon), and the other I didn't recognize. Before I could say anything there was a THUMP on top of the car. The woman that didn't like me had jumped on the top of the car. Suddenly a hand appeared behind me on the back glass, and smashed the glass. It was suddenly very bloody and went limp. I then woke up.
