New England
Three part dream. First Mother and I were in New England at a singing competition. A family band something like the Partridge family was there and apparently I was working for them and part of my job was watching a fish for them. It was a large orange fish, a large goldfish I guess. The fish had been ill and I was supposed to feed it, which I did. Apparently the water smelled or something, Mother thought the fish smelled so she sprayed it with some kind of air freshener, which of course killed the fish. The family was angry but not so much as I thought they'd be. The second part was Mother and I driving down a long New England road boardered by apple orchards. We got to a gold house with brown trim. There was a large lake or bay behind it and apple trees all around it. The place where we parked suddenly looked like an aisle in a supermarket parking lot. The car we were in was a black car like a Packard or old vehicle like that. There was a house across the street from where our car was parked. It was a breezy fall day and I was outside. An older woman that still kept her hair dyed black came from the house across the street to the parking lot. She was wearing black pants, yellow shirt and a red light jacket. She wore thick black framed glasses.
"Good morning," I said to her as she approached the car. She looked the car over and I saw that there were iron bars beside each parking slot with a label slid into a plastic cover on top. Each label had a number like "888.64" on it. The lady took one of the labels out of it's protector and asked "Could you keep one of these by your car? Otherwise he'll get mad." I don't know who HE was but I amiably agreed.
The third part must have been inside the same house. Seems I was working for someone there as well. Probably HIM because HIS daughter came to our house and accused me of stealing things of hers. I indicated the entire room with my arms and said "go ahead, search it, knock yourself out," which she proceeded to do. She started with a plastic container that was on top of a bureau. The room itself was quite spacious, with hard wood floors and white walls, country style furniture. The bureau was white the container was gray. It contained a bunch of clothes I had but couldn't wear. I told her if she could wear the clothes and liked them she could have them. I picked up a purple knitted top and she seemed to like it. She started looking into the drawers of the bureau. There were boxes in them that contained perfumes and other cosmetics. I convinced her not to keep looking and she ultimately left. The room had been somewhat cluttered and Mother had picked it up with the girl in there and when she left I went to put some things down and noticed all my other things gone. I got very angry. I had three bottles of perfume in my hand, two of one kind and one of another, which I put down on a nightstand next to the bed. Then I began to wake.
