Me And You At A Function, Boogie :D

My high school bff and I were at some function that had something to do with sports, football I think.  I was there as a reporter of some kind.  We'd been taken around a facility and introduced to the athletes.  The group was all women except my bff.  The time period seemed to be the late 60s to early 70s with the way the women were dressed and their hairdos.  They assembled us into an auditorium and up until this point my friend and I weren't together, as a matter of fact, we weren't together at all, just at the same function, apparently.  Anyway the event was getting underway, I believe it was an awards ceremony of some kind, and people started jostling and turning to the row of seats behind me and commenting, it seemed someone in the row was clowning around, and I turned to look and it was my friend acting a fool as usual.  He was dressed in a white shirt and white pants, and the woman sitting next to me said something about him and I said oh that's my best friend, we went to high school together!  And about that time someone just hosed him down with either champagne or a bucket of water or something but they were really dumping on him.  The woman next to me on the other side quietly said she couldn't stay because she was wearing a dress that couldn't get wet.  We all went outside after this and he was still standing away from me laughing with the people around him and I had my attention on this woman.  I asked her if I could drive her to her hotel, she could change her clothes there, and she said no and thanked me and walked away.

Then I guess I was driving to where I was staying and ended up at some storage facility and had found a kitten, a gray one with white.  I didn't take the kitten in, just came home and later on my Mother came in from being somewhere and she had the kitten.
