Back to England ...

I dreamed I moved to England, we, me and mother this time, drove there of course. I had moved there in hopes of finding a job. Mom was just helping me move in then she was coming back to the States.

It was in an apartment complex at an intersection in a rather bustling city but was directly across the street from a sizable lake. There was some kind of celebration on as there were young men outside shooting fireworks. The apartment was made of flat white wood, run down but liveable. There was a nice garage that went with the apartment and the apartment itself, once one got past the door was missing, was quite large and nice. We'd looked around the apartment and the area and Mom had gone to talk to some of the locals. In the meantime the super had put the door back on. Mom came in and said "you're not staying here." I said "Why? They fixed the door!" She said "For one thing there are water spouts over the lake." I looked out the window to the lake.''THAT lake?!" I said. In time she relented and left to go buy some groceries and I told her to be careful it was 30 mph on the road out front, and traffic was already building behind a policeman that had already stopped a car there. I was awakened at this point but went back to sleep and went back into the dream, this time I was back in the States for a short time, I think getting the rest of my things and getting things in order.

I was so impressive in the dream, I was driving a little red sportscar (I've always wanted a Spyder), and I was back at the house we lived in in a town called Jacinto City. I'd gotten to the house and there were many cars parked in front of it but I thougth my family just had company. One of the cars, a convertible, had left its lights on. It was growing dark outside. While I was looking for a place to park someone blew their horn behind me. The woman in the house directly across the street, who in the dream looked like the character of Helena from the Showtime series The L Word. She told me I was in her way. I attempted to get as close to the cars as I could she told me I was still in her way. I finally parked up the street in front of the first car in line and walked back, noticing the lights were on. We chitchatted, I told her I'd moved to England and was doing fine, then I told her the lights on this car were on she suggested I turn them off. I wanted to just reach in the car and turn them off, but the windows were up. So I thought, forget about it and went on into the house. Come to find out somewhere in the car was a million dollars. Someone in the house asked me to go retrieve it. I went out to the car and had to put my hand into a jar full of slimey water and woke before I retrieved the money.
